Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
I’m a psycho talking to my own reflection,

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Will my nightmares be replaced with love and affection?

Mirror, mirror on the wall
How can I see beyond my imperfection?

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who would guide my heart when it loses its direction?

I talked and talked to my mirror
But only silence answered me.
I wasn’t insane for talking to a mirror,
Rather for expecting answers

Good one, Khadidja. You might want to also try sending out your question out to the universe before falling asleep and you might be surprised in the morning to wake up with a most interesting answer... when you do, write a new poem about that experience. I enjoy your poems.

I like this. The ending is a relief to insanity.
