Minus identity, who am I

Minus identity, who am I?
An identity, a name, which binds my human form,
Holds my ego, keeps me enslaved in material bonds,
Without this identity, I will be free like a bird.

Minus identity, no pride, no vanity, will set in my mind,
No job security, no financial security, will bother me,
No social prestige demands, no fake showmanship, will haunt me,
With the peaceful life, my soul will be free.

No name, no identity, who cares,
We came to world like this and will go like that.

In a sense you are right. When there is no identity, there will be no more struggles to keep our identity. But won't it be miserable to have no identity?

I can't even imagine what it's like without an identity, it's impossible, we wouldn't exist. Ghosts and no one would come to our rescue from the worldly ways. Thank you for sharing, food for thought, Jay. xhugs

This is another way to see it. The spiritual side of it. I took it the pyschological way because I did not know what to write about until I researched online. From my understanding of near death experiences, those people are saying that in heaven, everyone is united and loss of identity is actually the cool thing!
