Ministers Think

......" Ministers  think " ......

Ok people in power I,ve had a stroke ,
So what you gonna do to get my vote , 
I,m not so bothered about material  wealth, 
All I want is better  services for  ones health,

And more  awareness for after care,
Not hospitals and nurses stripped  bare ,
It's not all about satistics and numbers , 
Or about you being honery sirs ,

You always say for the country  your doing the best,
Well it's about time you thought of the rest,
It's not about the north and south divide
For that's some thing that you can never hide,

It's about putting money  where your mouth  is ,
And backing health not just  making a list, 
Don't talk down to us like we don't understand, 
You try coping with only one working hand ,

Try having to live by  taking your daily pills ,
Or worrying how your going to pay the bills ,
You have broken your promises over and over again, 
And quite frankly you are all the same ,

So start thinking of health and what you would do , 
If someone had a stroke that was dear to you, 
And people need to know  to be more a ware , 
For only then can they realy care ,
