Minds creep past words laid trap-like on waving signs “Look at me” they shout “but not too long”. “Do not change your facial expression as that could be a micro aggression”. Under no circumstance should conversation be attempted for that would require an opening of the minds an evaluation of the shouting signs. A consideration of their intent and how that relates to their meaning. Passing minds look away shield their thoughts stare into empty coffee cups wondering what the people holding the signs are thinking. John G. Lawless ©11/4/2021

Profound observations here. Even when the pandemic's over, the masks remain tightly in place. :) gw

No dialogue allowed—because that would likely end the shouting and we can’t have that! ;) Provocative write. Nice title!
