Mind & Will

It washes over me with cold Each crystal taking a part of me with it As if to make me new A different person with out all the grit. Softness won’t come to someone like me Hardened by years Of lies and misery. The fools who believe What I have to say The follower’s mind Needs no need to stray. Weak and lost Overcomes most of us In time of need and desperation Overcompensate we must. The do’s and the don’ts The in’s and the outs I have no care for society Or what they are raving about. This all isn’t right It means nothing We are made to suffer Not pamper like a king. The hell is here and now not tomorrow or when we die There is no judgement day It is all a huge lie. The faith we all have Springs forth as we grow old Fear keeps us in check Believing penance is the road. I won’t be hooded in my sight Or let these people overcome me I intend to live my life The way I want it to be.
