Notes About The Poem

Mighty Storms

Storms, mighty storms proceed Coming from the far west Bringing Pacific's anger On their trip with a quest The north wind howls fiercely Uses its whip on the trees Bending, breaking branches Nature brought to its knees But during this chaos Somehow, I'm allured At raw power prevailing Wonder how the weak endured In your raging tempest I've seen a cleansing force Washing away tree's burdens Excess baggage, remorse You've given liberation From stagnant stifling air A chance to start anew With freshness that you bear

We are having these systems coming all across America and creating weather for us. They say it is El Nino effect which happens about every 10 years. I don't anything about that, but I know we are having a large amount of rain followed by colder weather. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Dear Sara, Congratulations! Your poem being selected as the Poem of the Day. The imagery of Pacific's anger, the north wind's whip, and the cleansing force in the raging tempest creates a powerful narrative. Your ability to find beauty in chaos and see the cleansing force within the storm is both thought-provoking and beautifully expressed. The metaphorical significance, comparing the storm's impact to a chance for renewal, adds depth to your words. You deserve the spotlight. - Blessings, Daniel

Dear Sara, storms bring so many emotions to the surface. I like watching rain cleanse the earth, while feeling of roll thunder beneath my feet. It's ' poetry in motion. ' When a * Strong * storm comes through, it's best to find a safe place. Blessings to all those in need. Congratulations my dear friend, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. Hugs, Brandy
