My dearest My midnight Valentine She runs into my embrace And burrows her head into my chest Such glorious reunion after parting! Then she takes my hand... And we'd go twirling like ballerinas under the stars We'd go sailing on the lake by moonlight She's a lover like no other; a magnificent treasure And loving her is so easy, for she's one in a million! There's heaven in her smiling eyes, her passionate kiss Arm in arm, often are we. Out and about; seeing a matinee Tripping the lights fantastic on a romantic Valentine's Day night on the town My dearest My midnight Valentine Midnight Valentine Poetry Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke Date written and posted: 01/27/2019
