Mi Amor

My Love, of a thousand years
The first to hold my hand
To touch my skin, my lips
The one who held me close
As I cried for my sadness
At Life’s daily losses
And laughed with me,
In my triumphs
And now, my Love,
There is an emptiness beside me
Where once, you stood.

Grats on having your poem featured bud. Lost love leaves an ache in your heart, the worst feeling in the world, and I truly believe that.
