Merry Christmas Tom

Tom you may be gone but these words are true
There was a wonderful legacy left here by you

This is the first Christmas since you passed away
Everyone I ask “Lets take a moment to pray”

Lets not mention the pain and all we have lost
For every life has a price and death is the cost

Lets all be thankful because these words are true
Tom Bell was a blessing to everyone he knew

He was more than a poet he was a mentor and a friend
Always so kind and witty with the advice he would lend

As I would read his comments I could imagine his smile
He is one who never let me doubt my soul was worthwhile

I penned this couplet though it’s a community message I send
Merry Christmas we love you and treasure your memory our friend

This is heart-warming: a wonderful tribute to Tom! The stream of your thoughts and words runs clear and smooth. It's true that when something touches someone in here, we can all feel its pain or elation. You, Michael, and Sharon also, have given a face and a heart to this man. He will thank you, as I do too, for sharing this with us! Blessing to you and yours..and Merry Christmas to you all! God bless.....Love, Mikki

Beatiuful dedication, Michael. I really feel I missed out on knowing a really great person. I see so many have dedicated work to him. You all honor his memory because of how kind and thoughtful everyone here is. Thanks for your comment. I have done a few different types of work and doing that type is rewarding. God bless you. This is the second tribute I have found to Tom today. He must have been a grand fellow. thank you for your comment on my pet poem. She was a yellow lab and I am still mourning for her. She died a week ago last Monday. Love, Joyce

Crying my eyes out with everyone's poems about Tom. Beautiful Michael, as I would expect from you. I am having great difficulty in coming up with one, as it is hard for me to make it good enough, if you know what i mean. This is wonderful. Love, shar
