Merry and Bright

Christmas was only a few hours away.
Santa and elves were coming on the sleigh.
The night was filled with fair sights,
'Til the clash with festive lights.
Soon flashing, bright nosed Rudolph, led the way!

Never get tired of the festive lights. Tours of places/streets with festive lights are a tradition here but not as many lights up as used to be, but still enough to enjoy, although less variety and use of imagination. I think Christmas poems give a lot of hope and have ability to lighten peoples mood. Glad I read yours, Evelyn.
