Merrily Rollicking

Comical how the squirrels are frolicking In the leaves that have covered the ground At least a dozen of them merrily rollicking Nipping and chasing each other all around Their eager playfulness is so astonishing. Written October 3, 2022

You know, Bill, when I was a kid we would often rake up a pile of leaves and roll or jump in it. Of course, when I was a kid, activities were rather limited, so we made do. (ha!)

Love watching them Milton. They are very territorial.. Protecting their burried walnuts and such. We use to have a lot but ever since they put the WiFi tower we hardly see any, anymore I wonder if they sense the radiation and move far away. The same for the chipmunks and birds. Really strange. We use to have so many squirrels, and chipmunks now we rarely see any. Thanks for sharing miss those beautiful animals..

Hmmm...it makes me wonder, too. Well, I hope they never put one near enough here to make my squirrels leave.

Thanks, Caren. I love watching them through my kitchen window.
