Enjoyable read, imaginative (raw whimsy). I have asked "How Many Syllables" why they count a dash as a syllable (not a hyphen but a mark to emphasize what follows). I've heard them called em dashes. They didn't respond, as yet.

Yes, those mermaids sure do stir 'raw whimsy,' … Here's a little levity for you: The first time through, instead of 'whimsy,' I read 'whiskey.' Pretty absurd, I suppose. :) gw
