Mermaid Memory
make a mystery
out of me
mermaid my way
stay, stay, stay
and play
with shimmery
iridescence
tranquil greens
ocean blues
hues and hues
to all my clues
seashell stardom
as I ride the surf
dolphins beside
I glide
over and under
the waves I slide
long luscious locks of blond
ebb and flow
along the tides
satiate me in your saltwater
seaweed is my satin
coral my coronation crown
the elements my elation
mythical sea creature
I am
beauty in brackish bubbles
I smile in saline splendor
