Merlin The Magic Cat
Merlin is a most talented cat
From his magical wand spells he’ll cast
As for things he brings out of his hat
He's a supremo aristocrat.
Merlin fell madly in love one day
With a kitty who’s named Lady Mae
Who’s as pretty as a rose bouquet
Once smitten Merlin would never stray.
Merlin was fully out to impress
The cutest thing he’d seen on four legs
Her heart he so wanted to possess
To love and to care for in excess.
Merlin decided to cast a spell
To assist Lady Mae's heart to swell
So that together their souls would gel
The instant wizardry stardust fell.
Merlin waved his wand o’er the sweet miss
Her soft meow said she couldn’t resist
Purring gently she offered a kiss
In mystic joy of absolute bliss.
Merlin and Lady Mae made a vow
Heart-to- heart in fond meow, meow
To stay in love all their lives from now
Merlin knew he’d magic that, somehow.
