Mercy
We need it when we're wrong
We think it makes us right
We feel it's not for the strong
We look for it when we're losing the fight
We do not deserve it
Though we dont want it to end
But who ever sends it
We're quick to call them friend
We pat ourselves on the back
When we hand it out
But we never appreciate its value
Or how it should weaken our doubt
But however it comes
No matter its amount
Its portion should not matter
And we think it should always count
