MEMORIUM TO A DANCER
O
Come dance with me into the Garden of your restored self
Here lies the victory denied to you outside of life
Here roads lead by themselves to eternal unfolding self-realization
Here there are no possessions or possessed
And it is deathless
Do you understand?
O
Come dance with me into the Divine Garden of your restored mind
Here the music does not stop
Here the notes do not lie
Here the Diety is no longer hidden
And the light is forever
Do you understand?
O
Come dance with me into the Garden of your salvation
Here lies your purification, victory and sanctification
Here the seeds you planted long ago sow themselves eternally
Producing Cypress, Lemons, and Lilies, Apples and Cinnamon
Perennial fruits of Christ himself
Do you understand?
O
Come dance with me into the Garden of your restored childhood
Here the flowers at the foot of your crucifixions never wilt
Here music is poured out into the star-soaked dance floor
Here you can linger forever on point
And tip toe into a landscape of transfixing peace
Do you understand?
O
Come dance with me into the Garden of your new family
Here children are never betrayed
Here the tangled tendrils of family desire cannot enter
Here immature strength blossoms into Herculean victory
And the harshest madness of unlived life dissolves towards God
Do you understand?
O
Come dance with me into the Garden of your new found peace
Here there are no ambushes no attacks
Here there is an eternal presence of the Divine
Here your first world passes away
And you are taken back into a grown- up heart know from infancy
Do you understand’
O
Come dance with into this Garden of holy incantations
Here the cradle curse at the royal birth is broken
Here the voice of the Lilac fairy reigns as law
Here you are eternally yourself
And one with God
Do you understand?
