Teardrops fall from memories of days and nights that never were when my love vanished with the gray horizon leaving fragmented recollections to relive trying to fit the broken pieces together as if my loss was an illusion a love portrayed, a love lost perhaps a dream to remember of thoughts about what could have been created from the ashes that drift in the sleep of lonely nights where a tear-stained face crosses a barren shadowed stage under a dim-lit light of reflection to play the last tear-filled scene of love lost

Dear frederick, only few can express and write like you do; in such an evocative manner that makes the reader feel the depth of emotions, of love lost, of love that falls like tears of memories, while sometimes its also questioned by the other; as if it was an illusion, you really delivered one that resonates with me deeply! Pleasure reading you today! Best wishes! Sending you light always! Fave ofcourse

I love how your poem captures the haunting sorrow of lost love with quiet intensity. The imagery is delicate yet heavy with emotion “teardrops,” “fragmented recollections,” and “ashes” evoke a profound sense of longing and grief. The line “days and nights that never were” is especially striking, hinting at a love that may have been more imagined than real, or perhaps never fully realized. There's a dreamlike quality throughout, as if the speaker is caught between memory and illusion.
