I write upon so many things- but memories, at rest within, oft surface neath veneers- and happily, I've earned my share- now in my eighth decade. So from down deep, I reap emotions they still hold- transform them into worded imagery. With treasured feelings, sharing each fond memory, I've written poems that I pray unfold the loving-kindness so displayed within my parents' care. My captured thoughts of growing up during those years do rise and flow as verbal melodies. And too, my poetry brings forth dear reveries of my own family; each member steers the inner thoughts that help me bare my gratefulness portrayed. So I, for spouse and kids, grandkids, great-grand- remold memories- shaped by words- so lovingly.
