Memories of Kel

It’s so long since I saw her that I forget so much now, yet dream I smell her perfume, stroke her soft hair, see her dark eyes, And then I wake and remember the fights when we parted.

A tender, nostalgic sijo, Jack. We tend to remember the good times we shared with those we love. When we let go of the dreams, however, the fights are foremost in our minds. Best wishes in the sijo contest, my friend! Love, Carolyn
