Memories fade
As Memories dim and fade
Past favours are forgotten
Ingratitude breeds envy and jealousy
And promises of love till death
Made under the heat of the moment
Fade and are forgotten
Emotions take flight under new guise
Beautiful memories of years past
Dim and diminish as cognitive health wanes
For Humans are just mere mortals
They have a beginning and a definite end
Put your trust in God for
He is dependable and reliable
He has no beginning and no end

The God of yesterday today and forever
