Melancholy Memory

A bouncing puppy, So cute and full of life, A small cuddly bundle In my arms… A naughty young dog, Fails dog training classes, Full of mischief and fun, He’s my boy… Loves to be cuddled, Treated like a baby Indoors; but when outdoors, A wild thing… Personality So strong, mind of his own, Never a dull moment With Paddy… A huge lump appears, The vet gives him some pills, Buys precious extra time, Rest In Peace… For Constance’s Melancholy Memory contest, using her Melancholy Form

AWWWW, I know exactly how you felt. I had to take my dear Callie cat to the vet when her big lump appeared too. It's just so sad. you did an amazing job for this challenge

This has touched me as it was this time of year that my Ginger died, Jack. So very well written and I'm sure Paddy misses you too! Best of luck in Russell's sponsored contest. x Always, Annalise

I know the feeling my friend, I have been there done that! It still stings doesn't it, whenever you think of him? But also with that there are the wonderful memories that you have shared with him all the days of his life! Such a perfect entry into Constance's contest, very nicely written! What a beautiful piece you have written, Great Work!!
