Media: Rights In Death?

The mail lady drops off a letter That drops a bomb on the family, Their brother dropped dead After dropping out of college. Just like the newspaper is a nuisance Without any nudity You read an article by some Mr. Newman He says he doesn't find it news That another college kid has died. "Its not like he burned on a pyre," said the man I don't think it makes a difference if it involved any fire. I disregard his writing because he wants to aspire To change minds of these people by being a liar. I bet they'd think different if he was said dyer. Mr. Newman, drop your arms, And Shut off your alarms. What you say can cause harm To the family that the mail lady had dropped off that letter. That dropped the bomb on the family That their brother dropped dead. After dropping out of college. Here's to thinking ahead.

I wouldn't call it poetry, rather a response to something a friend of mine showed me in a newspaper obituary. Thanks for the comment.

This is origional, but kind of strange. a hard meaning, I would not want to hear about a death by mail, I am not sure what type of poetry you were trying to write, very heartfelt, a good try. Thanks for sharing. Judy Riley
