Me Ship, Rover
Walkin' meself by the place where Mike's Bar's
place to be this night of rain and cold chill,
I thought I'd have me some jolt that bejars
me gut havin' time now so as might kill.
Mike's a great one seen oft servin' used swill.
He'll lift a man's leavin's very quickly,
pourin' same down drain where pitcher waits till
placed in sight, ugh, lookin' mighty sickly.
Me thinks he's not doin' right thing strictly,
so's to keep away from dirty dealin's,
I'll drink only wine that pours out thickly,
minding right well me own tender feelin's.
Me ship sails at mornin' tide to Dover.
She's a fine ship carryin' name The Rover.
