maybe if you . . .
found boogeyman faces in sailing skies –
splashed in every single mud puddle anyway –
cried during Hallmark commercials –
maybe if you . . .
ever marveled at the creativity of every cockamamy excuse
you ever heard –
died just a little when one more day passed without –
sat in the sand until incoming tide knocked you over . . .
maybe . . .
you might find me.
