May I, Each New Dawn Give That Softest Morning Kiss

Sonnet Doubles... ( Forty year span )

( 1.)

May I, Each New Dawn Give That Softest Morning Kiss

May I, look at you with a lover's caring eyes
as you on this sandy beach, match the rising waves
beautiful hair, sexy body none can deny
and those red luscious lips this lover so craves!

May I, swim with you, in ocean surging so blue
your true happiness merging in with that of mine
whilst we together explore sweeter life anew
and upon our hot nightly love forever dine!

May I, each new dawn give that softest morning kiss
watch as my angel rise, to each day truly bless
as gift, passionate embrace, such I'll not miss
along with pure ecstasy that this soul must confess!

May I, all of your days, such deep romance hold true?
May I, gift unto thee all love, that is your due?

Mother Nature, Her Majestic Gifts Holds The Keys

Alone among beautiful awe inspiring trees,
soul seeking happiness solitude often brings
Mother Nature, her majestic gifts holds the keys
of earthen Life, Love and thus almost Everything

As dawn its warmth, into this eager soul soon soaks
this shattered heart wakes and thereby begins to heal
sitting here musing under this giant red oak
one sees dear life, finds its truest magnificent feel

Aware that this true splendor is oft cut to burn
this old man can not help but to shed falling tears
as sad sorrows invade to hurt and stomach turn
at nearby birds singing, suddenly old soul cheers

Countless times, I must seek refuge in this haven,
Here beg God, that this paradise is worth savin'.

R. J. Lindley, May 15th, 1979
Sonnet, ( I wonder how long this ( my secret) haven will last )

Ah, if only I could be one eight the poet you are, that would be a miracle indeed. You know the classic forms and poets so excellently, Robert. The rush to erase these forms saddens me. You express love so well! Wow Love Panagiota

Thank you my friend. Your poetry rates very well with me. And true, poetry in this day age is not as respected as it once was or even as it should be!! Which to me is a sad, sad reality and bodes not well for our culture... God bless...

Thank you my friend. My muse told me it was time to write a romantic piece. I simply had to obey or else!
