Math Is Not My Game

If seven times five is thirty-five Aunty C,
Can forty minus five also thirty-five be?
And what about five times seven and fifty minus fifteen?
How can they all be thirty-five? What does it all mean?

Not sure I said to the child. Math is not my game.
I would rather be assigned coyotes to blame
Some solve arithmetic problems, but I always fold.
Geometry makes my literary blood run cold.

This does not interest them any more. They are all going to be U-tube millionaires.
