Marvelous Herbs

"In all things of nature there is somethings of the marvelous." Aristotle

Marvelous Herbs

Herbs -
Nature’s
Marvelous
Gift of flavor -
Brightens the blandness
Of the ordinary -
Savory gracing tasteless -
Zest to nondescript dreariness -
Herbal wonders – healing remedies –
Seasoning’s magic to flavorless salt.

I think I hear the doorbell with a lovely bouquet from the 59th Street Bridge Florist on Scarborough! My small herb garden has these plants but I love the bouquet. Thanks for your thoughtfulness and your congratulations, dear friend! Too bad they don't go with chocolate cookies - will have to work on that idea.

Now, are you referring to Peaches and Herb, or Herb Alpert? Just kidding... nice to see you writing and submitting so much today, Sam. I love when you write about your garden of delights, as you are quite the expert of growing things. I truly enjoyed your marvelous ode to marvelous herbs! ~ John

Nice "herb-age" my friend. Being in the garden is never work but sheer delight. Somehow I can't pass a nursery without adopting a little something green. So happy you enjoyed the virtual tour of my herb garden! Got on a roll today! Thank you for your message. Blessings.

When I couldn't get my annuals to survive as patio plants, I kicked them out and planted herbs. They have been marvelous garden companions! So glad you enjoyed this offering - partner in herb-"age!" Thank you for visiting my garden, Mo!

Thank you Tom for your good wishes. I have a little herb garden that I love. When my annuals kept dying, I gave up and planted herbs. With the variety of plants, it is really fun to try different fresh herbs in old dishes and new culinary creations. Do you grow any herbs? Over Fork Over
