Marriage and Life

MARRIAGE AND LIFE People marry in search of a new life expectations are high, hearts soaring, unlocking closed hearts ready for the new adventure aching to give and partake in the new experience Talk to me of people in love yell at me your heart whisper in my ear fill my cup of desire Rub me the right way Rub me the wrong way But rub me with cinnamon The spice of Life Throw me on the bed Throw me on the floor Throw me pillows in the moonlight Let’s live! We have a lifetime to explore love Marriage moments move slowly, often happily but the fun moments are quickly dispelled the mist of excitement is soon dispersed by an unseen wind experience expands the mind’s acceptance of responsibilities Or not, time moves rapidly exploding myths of marriage that slowly morph into Life’s chores and necessities Longevity brings insensitivity and questions to a floundering union creating a demanding environment and suspicion for both deeply felt love is spoken sparingly though not forgotten But thoughts of the good times evaporate into questions did I ever love this person, do I love them now? Sustained Love happens to the lucky ones and in time in some marriages may build love and survive for the unlucky what was once deeply felt affection time, responsibility and daily toil have taken away All the good feelings of love are cast aside and what remains are only raw gnawing scars that only time can overcome but in new pastures But if love is still bountiful and respect is still there be grateful and recall the first time you made Love remember the way it used be, recall those moments of ecstasy and unbridled love making, feel the years peel off... send the kids out to play, lock the door, pull the shades down IT'S TIME TO GET NAKED AND CELEBRATE YOUR LOVE!!!
