Even in emptiness there is meaning. Your free verses are beautiful, Line Gauthier. I used to collect the driftwood in Whidbey Island, shapely, coiled like a snake they were. I added turquoise eyes. They were my nic nacs!

The emptiness one feels inside is far more bitter than any betrayal. A great verse with a telling image ... Line.
