Why do these girls run, why? tell me
Why are they running the marathon?
All deserve a gold medal, all of them
I have tears in my eyes when I see them.

It is so graceful to see them running... ! But running a Marathon race is no easy a task for women athletes. As you feel, they all deserve a medal. Have a great weekend, dear Yaan.

I see nothing wrong in females running to compete in a marathon. That's equality.

It is a calling for some women, to demonstrate their determination, tenacity, and equality, Yann. My take on it. Tears of joy I get when I see what we humans are capable of for eg. Olympics.
