Man In the Moon

Baby, come home soon I grow tired of these conversations with the man in the moon I can not lie Mesmerized by his bright beauty I keep talking to the sky I pour out my soul Waiting for his sweet reply though it were you there to console As the night comes to fade Without a single response I soon realize that I was played Really he's such a fake Pretending to soothe and ease the pain Of my broken heart ache O how I long for you the softness of your voice whispering in my ear, its true Baby I'll be home soon but I get there We'll talk to the same man in the moon
