Man Bashing Day

I wish I could say I am proud of men
I wish I could say it's true
I wish I could say I am proud of men
But a kick in their pants would do
 
They have no clue about what they should say
They only know how to grunt
They have no clue about what they should say
These cave men just want to hunt
 
I wish I could say I admire men
I wish I could say they’re cool
I wish I could say I admire men
But why must they play the fool?
 
“Oh for goodness sake, won’t you get a grip?
Your feelings can make you strong
Oh for goodness sake, won’t you get a grip?
It's ok if you are wrong!”
 
They think if you smile, they must be divine
They think they can make you swoon
They think if you smile, they must be divine
Yet they dance to our sweet tune!
 
They think we must yield to their every whim
We must cook, clean, and be coy
They think we must yield to their every whim
We’re to be used as a toy!
 
They think they were made to govern and rule
They have the right to command
They think they were made to govern and rule
Their foolishness who can stand?
 
It's men bashing day; I’m compelled to say
A good man is hard to find

Ladies, thank God for OUR kind! 
 
We are sugar and spice and all things nice
We’re just like peaches and cream
We are sugar and spice and all things nice
Each one is every man’s dream!!!

"a good man is hard to find." Very clever wording and rhyme throughout.Man bashing day! hah! Should be a holiday for us women huh? : ) All in all, a very entertaining piece. There is a lot of truth in this, on a serious note. Always, Laura

Yet from my perspective, although I do not doubt the validity of your words I would not put all men into one bucket. I command no one nor do I do I think of women as sugar and spice. I believe that we can be lovers or friends. I do believe in true love and eternal friendship. Possibly I am unique but I sincerly doubt it. Please do not take this as a criticism.
