Man and a Monster

What’s the difference between being a man and a monster? Is it simply the difference between I could have and I did? Which face is mine when I look into the fractured mirror? Run a piece across my arm watch it skid. The blood helps to make things clearer, the past can’t be undid. Control has always only ever been an illusion. Mostly because we fear the unknown. Life is always the best obtrusion, think you have it made it kicks you off your throne. When the man in the mirror is your biggest enemy you are always left to ponder, what’s the difference between a man and a monster
