Making Christmas Bright

This Yuletide, a pine (freshly-cut) we’re going to trim. We’ll make it bright with lights and with our gaiety and hang some tinsel sparkling from each limb of this most beautiful tall Christmas tree, for home for the holidays my family soon will be! Some popcorn for the tree we will also string, and cookies we will bake. Then with delight, we’ll frost them while fun Christmas songs we sing. It’s going to be a jolly family night when we get started - making Christmas bright. Dec. 15, 2021 For Winter Quintain , Poetry Contest of Francine Roberts

Just imagine if poetry soup families decided to holiday in the same place on a particular Chrstmas Eve and Christmas day, how amazing it would be to be all together to meet one another and each other families, to celebrate and to just be altogether. I know I would love to meet you, as i would other poetry soupers - just carried away with the festivity of this season and the warm chocolate feeling it leaves us with. Awesome poem my friend, hugs Jennifer.
