I'm a step father and am furious how men can willingly, wantonly leave their children when they are born, and not even get in touch with them for 15 years, it becomes frustrating when the arguments start and the step dad cops the "you're not my real father, why are you even here" and all I try to be is a father figure for them. ouch!!!! If I ever meet this guy I swear I'll make him answer some real questions to his children, honest stuff.
The actual truth:
1. The real dad doesn't care about his children
2. The real mother loves her children.
3. The step dad cares about the children.
I’m not your father,
So pick up your arrogant attitude and get off my case!
Take your issue with being told to go to school, and instead,
Phone a scream at your real father’s face,
You know, the guy that left you when you were born,
Left you without an old man,
Leaving your mother to raise the three of you alone, yep,
The guy that got up and ran,
Make him accountable, phone him and abuse him,
Tell him how he messed up your life,
Stop blaming everyone here for your woes,
Stop making excuses for his beautiful wife.
His choice to move two thousand k’s away from you….
That made your emotional scar,
The sooner you realize these life realities,
The sooner you’ll see how lucky you are.
