The time we’re living in today is bad,
we’re all touchy and can’t agree on much.
Today we’re obsessed with our quest for gad,
which leaves us with reality, out of touch.
Because all in life wasn’t intended for pleasure,
each day, for sure, bad moments will come.
Each day let’s strive to give God good measure,
a life in Christ will never become humdrum.
We must be more aware of what we do and say,
and the degrading of others take no part.
Our statements taint the message we convey,
For the tongue utters what is in the heart.
