Mahal

Mahal, pag-ibig mo ang tanging lunas
sa lahat ng sakit at paghihirap;
sugat at lungkot sa aking buhay 
tila walang katapusan.

Ikaw ang daan, aking liwanag,
tungo sa bukas na sumisikat;
at kung tulutan ika'y mahalin,
iyong-iyo ang puso ko,
irog, mahal ka sa akin.

Mundo ma'y magunaw,
walang bahid ng takot -
dusa't pait susuungin ko,
basta't kapiling ang mahal - ikaw.

Ikaw ang daan, aking liwanag,

I stumbled upon this in trying to do a search on "luna" & this write of yours came up-- I had to smile when I saw this Tagalog poem here :) -- this sure is very romantic-- I enjoyed reading this poem of yours -- I've only recently tried to write in Tagalog (how ironic for me) but this one is truly beautiful-- maganda talaga wika natin 'no? -- nikko :)
