Magnificence

The first view,
magnificent glistening sun rising,
glowing moon setting
so heartwarming.
The warmth to the soul
yet thrill that it brings,
will always linger lovingly
as mistletoe would bring in.
Evening follows,
a crisp breeze to the air,
stars and moon flying high.
Seasons will continue
rain, sleet, snow and sun again,
a humbling harmony that has no end.

Time does though pass
known even by fools,
the crisp air now damp
as heaviness of old wet shoes.
The sun now hazy,
conforming clouds building,
bringing vision of a bat
if eyes still open.
Warming hearts now aching,
ground beneath quaking,
souls grudgingly gaping.
Malcontent magnificence
shows its face,
with all its beauty and grace,
marching to its ultimate end,
once again.
