Magnification
Close up I study it.
A tiny chip of mineral,
Through my powerful microscope.
Excited to learn what I will see.
The light is poor,
The tiny chip glows.
It has an irregular pattern,
Of multi colors,
Unlike anything I have seen before.
I see colors of the rainbow,
All in an iridescent moving pattern.
It’s a play of color.
Translucence through the microscope.
I am watching an amazing lightshow,
From this tiny chip.
Like its on fire.
Colors seem to be exploding through the lens.
What a beautiful mineral this is.
