We live in a technological time
where magic is more plausible than not.
All seems possible in this paradigm,
including self-expression and free thought.
We've traveled to the bottom of the sea
and stepped onto the surface of the moon.
We can harvest ripe apples off a tree
and sell them overseas that afternoon.
We can instantly talk to each other;
through a magical device called a phone.
And now fly, like a fairy godmother,
and build buildings with steel instead of stone.
Earth is a breathtaking, magical place,
but I miss interacting face-to-face.
