Macaroons
Prize such fond surprise:
In floating balloons,
Watch happy arise
In bright macaroons!
Tints and colours mint:
Joy feels so tasty,
Feel palate dash hint
In treats sugary.
Prize moments entice:
In mouth feel that melts,
Watch wonder spring spice,
Warm ecstasy felt!
Orange, blue, beige and pink,
Colours of all sorts,
Violet and green mints,
Seize then the whole lot.
Almond powder floods,
Caster sugar fine,
Egg whites mix for blood,
Food colours align!
French macarons feast:
Surprise meets good taste,
Panache not the least,
Macaroons slow haste!
Honey for many:
Yet fond macaroons
Make me so happy,
Edible balloons!
