How many people in this world,
share the pain that he feels?
Every day he wakes up,
with hope that he heals.
And every day that he wakes,
more movement is gone.
But it's what's still in side,
that keeps him going on.
As he looks back through his life,
he still has his pride.
As his body slows down,
it's still him that's inside.
He keeps his head up,
as he deals with his fear.
Because the strength that's inside,
is why he is still here.
He has no more to lose,
only strength to gain.
Hoping this world,
will learn from his pain.
