Luna's Light - Constanza

A cobalt sky with stars so bright Like dancing diamonds in array Scattered across the Milky Way. And Luna with her silver light Caresses every hill and tree and sprinkles lights across the sea. Engaged with clouds in misted sight. . . As she shares her equinox sky, enchanted clouds soon drift on by Spreading shadows with glowing light. A couple strolls nearby the sea; lovers in silent reverie. A peaceful calm is here tonight A floral scent so sweet and fair denotes that spring is in the air, And all is good, and all is right. With grateful hearts they share their love . . . while gazing at the stars above. A cobalt sky with stars so bright And Luna with her silver light Engaged with clouds in misted sight . . . Spreading shadows with glowing light. A peaceful calm is here tonight And all is good, and all is right. 7-6-19 Constanza poetry form

Dear PS Members, I know my example poem for the Constanza has 6 stanzas plus the monorhyme but for Andrea's "Can you Constanza Contest" the limit is 5 stanzas with a sixth stanza being the monorhyme of the first lines of each stanza. I really look forward to helping Andrea judge this contest. Mahalo, Connie

Beautiful Connie, like a great meal satisfies this fills me with knowing there are still parts of this universe that survive man's intemperate use of what was once so pristine. This form is fascinating too and I think you have created a masterpiece my dear! :) Love, Elizabeth

Good piece of writing, Connie. You carry off well the personification of the moon. A peaceful and calming read. Interesting form, but I have to admit it's a bit above my station. Enjoy the contest with Andrea. :)
