Lucky 8
The Lucky Eight were paragons of the Old West:
Their leader, adored for his charisma and wit
, his three brothers, for pulchritude and grit
, the Fifth wore a blazing red rose on his vest
, number Six -- well it's said no one's ever been uglier
, Seven quoted Revelation and said man was done 'fer
, Eight always complained about saddle discomfort.
Until the leader shot him one day saying, "Seven is luckier."
