Lovers
Can we become lovers
just for a couple of years if we can't last forever.
Can I have memories with you
do the things like couples do.
Can we have meal together
either breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Can we see movies on Friday nights
with popcorn and kisses in between.
Can we travel to unknown places,
an adventure only the two of us will remember.
Can we hold hands and admire every sunset.
Can I open my eyes in your sweet sweet smile,
hugs and coffee as we wait for the sunrise.
Can we become lovers,
let's have our favorite place and meet with excitement.
Can you have beautiful dreams of me
