Love-Led Liberty

Liberty
propelled by love
leads heart to choose
truth and right midst faith’s might
surmounting doubts, vanquishing fears
conquering selfishness of pride’s dominion
toward joy, worth sharing not kept to be cherished alone.

Love-led liberty
devoid of selfishness
while caring for others
drives ransomed soul
to reach-out along mercy and grace
braced through the Lord's hand of goodness
making possible faith-performance, against vain freedom show.

* Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
