Love You Mommy
Mom,
You gave me the wings to fly
You gave me the strength to accomplish anything
You gave me the sword to fight my own battles,
And the heart to forgive those who hurt me
You gave me the world when all you had was the moon
You gave me power to vanquish demons
You gave me the crayons of which to color my life
You taught me to see the truth
You taught me to believe
You taught me to hope
You taught me to be smart
You taught me to be strong
You taught me to never run away,
To never back down, and give up
You never doubted me
You never left me behind
You never gave up on me
You never stopped believing in me
You mean so much to me
You give me so much
All I can give you
Is this poem
