Notes About The Poem

So much violence I have wittiness these last few weeks -- some right in my own neighborhood.

Love Sorrow

blood pouring forth . . . red

           yelling . . . hate  r a d i a t i n g 

                                      shooting, dying . . .  why

It's almost impossible to find a news report that is not slanted, or distorted by opinion. I like the way you relate the hate and anger to scripture. Jeremiah was projecting forward to King Herod and the slaying of all male children under the age of two in Bethlehem, in an effort to kill the infant Jesus.
