living bowers
spread&stand
cold&dark
leaf&bark
on which
the light
might shine
a sense
of Spring
with
silent stealth
calm&bright
in
height&shade
of
living streams
come near
through
sphere&incline
a constant
source
of many
showers
all noise&breath
and
signs of wind
did then
enfold
shining spires
bliss effable
true liberty
did once appear
with
speech
&
tongue
ran to speak
with
inward meaning
in love's
descent
then
sent a voice
of
kind encouragement
there to shine
into
passion's mind
that
still voice
of eternity
a soft sacred
call
here
below
few
scarce know
but
in song
made
sure
with
passionate
cry
love
did thus
come near
a
sacred
way
through
sweat&
agony
