Love Song

I have seen the Lord My eyes have not seen the open cave My hands have not touched the silent smoothness of linen cloths My ears have not heard the melody of angels Nor have my fingers dipped into the nail prints of His hands Still, I have seen Tears cleansing away the Thomas Heart clutching tightly the Magdalene... The boulder is moved, the tomb empty Alleluia arises in my heart It cracks the crust of bitterness It lifts the burden of anxiety It stills the restless soul I have heard the Gardener's voice As He sows the seeds with patient hand Waters the fields with faith Singing a love song to the unlovable.
